Washington State struggles against Washington, edging the Huskies 104-99. In the Final Four, UCLA kills Washington State 119-84, while Arizona State ends Oregon’s season 109-93. In an anti-climactic finale, UCLA proves why it’s the second-best team in the country by handling Arizona State, 110-93. Ah, if only Pac-10 track was run by hoops fans. The mark surpasses the school’s previous season-ticket record of 30,365 from a year ago, with the Ducks forced to curtail ticket sales be fore July 1 each of the past two seasons. Included among this year’s sales has been the purchase of 35,200 re served seats, compared with the sale of 26,600 reserved season tick ets all of last year.
