Former law dean Frohnmayer takes UO’s presidential reins ■ ADMINISTRATION: W position he entered temporarily became permanent this summer By Sean M Smith Oeooe Efcwy frrmml The State Board of Higher Education announced the per manent appointment of Dave Frwhnmayer as University pres idem June lie making him the 15th president in the University's 119-vear history The hoard approved Frohnmavwr s position follow ing the recommendation of OSSHK Chancellor Joe Cox, who met with University stu dents, faculty, alumni and com munity members before addressing the Ixmrd.
