OSSHK Chancellor Joe Cox,
who met with University stu
dents, faculty, alumni and com
munity members before
addressing the Ixmrd.

with employees of all types,
and the openness, frankness
and candor with which tie
approaches the presidency,"
Cox said in a news release

ment for Myles Brand, who
vacated the position last year to
accept the president y at
Indiana University
Frohnmaver, who had been
dean of the University School
of l.ayv since 1992. was
appointed interim president on
May 1 I. 1994
University Provost and Vice
President for Academic: Affairs
John Moseley applauded the
decision.

stituents. and his ability to rep
resent this university and his
leadership have been outstand
ing."

Frohnmayer said in a June 19
phone interview that he is opti
mistic and realistic about the
presidency and the year ahead
of him
