REVIEWS Continued from Page 8 voice, his looks, his attitude and his intelligence. Of those, I have no doubt Mr Rollins is good looking Mr Rollins has a dts ent voice Mr Rollins seems to have a decent outlook on life Mr Rollins seems to lie quite intelligent. But then I know another woman who believes that this pint-sized punk from Seattle is God. This woman also believes that the pint-sized punk from Seattle is the man. Blit this is where I disagree. Kvon though the pint-sized may be (letter looking, have n l>et ter voice, better attitude and bet ter IQ than Mr. Rollins, he is still nothing but a pint-sized punk who gets more play on Top 40 radio stations than anywhere else. Mr. Rollins does not Weight will not. Maybe that’s why the woman I know believes Mr. Rollins is God. Maybe that's why the woman I know Irelieves Mr. Rollins is the man. Maybe he is. - JAKE BERG Oregon Daily Emerald THE CROW SNTK. ARTIST. Various LABEL: Atlantic g a ow can an album lie bad fl»*f with head-hanging names a like Nine Inch Nails. Hel met, Rantera. Rage Against the Machine and Rollins Band writ ten all over it? A more mellow supporting cast of the Violent Femmes, Stone Temple Pilots, My l.ife With the Thrill Kill Knit, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and The Cure is nothing to scoff at either. If the cast of the movie The Crow had a* many big names as the soundtrack that goes along with it. then surely the ,-V ademv Awards nominations would be pouring in. (Oddly enough, though, the film is being released posthu mously after star Brandon Lee's death, so he won’t lie showing up to the Oscars nest year ) The songs from each of the super groups listed above are not the (vest you will ever hear each sound, but they are all worth hrtv ingon com pm t dis<. as many are formerly unreleased or simply hard to find Of particular note an- the Mings from Pantern's “The Badge." Hollins Hand's "Ghostrider.
