BASIC TRAINING FOR THE THEATER Non-credit 19:00-21:50H Instructor: Beatrice Harpham 152 Education Workshop fee: $75 This workshop covers the four main components of the theater: the play, voice, acting, and directing. Learn how to write and submit a good play, how to use the voice as an instrument, how to take advantage of the dynamics of the stage, and how to bring a play to life. Bea Harpham, a Shubert Award-winning playwright, has written four stage productions, including "The Priest," a play in verse that was awarded the Kurnitz Award in 1971. To preregister, call 686-3537.
