Come use the Craft Center A MEMBERSHIP IS ALL YOU NEED! MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION f MU Craft Center membership is required for those workshops that use Craft Center fai ilities and equipment. Workshops requiring memberships are starred * next to their desc ription. Membership for < urrent term University students, faculty, staff and their spouses is $ 5/term or $1/day use. Membership is $12/term for alumni and ICC students or $« when enrolled in a workshop over $20. Alumni may use the Craft Center for S2/day use. The general public is welcome for membership at the ('raft Center for $12 with enrollment in a workshop over $10. STUDIO FACILITIES fMU Craft Center facilities available for workshop and open studio use inc lude: a c eramic studio, darkrooms equipped for both blac k & white and color printing, a metalworking area equipped for fewelry casting and soldering, as well as fac ilities for silksc reen, batik, stain ed glass, lapidary and sewing. In addition, the* ( raft Center has hand tools for these areas and a collection of craft books and periodicals for member use within the Craft Center, lockers are available to members for $1 (small) or $1.75 (large) per term. WORKSHOP REGISTRATION Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. A registration form is me luded in this schedule. Members of the University community will be asked to present 'heir University ID; students will be asked for their fee card. Alumni should bring some verification of being a stu dent in the past. REFUND POLICY Workshops will be refundable 100% 72 hours prior to the first meeting, 0% thereafter. If a workshop is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Memberships are not refundable. Specials are not refundable. Saturday Mpm February 7 $10 TEDDY BEARS GWEN HURLBURT Have you always wanted to give your Valentine something you made with love? Have you always wanted to make a Teddy Bear? Flave double the fun at this workshop. Demonstration of movable joints, making eyes, nose, mouth and how to dress your bear. Lots of bears will at tend this workshop to inspire you. Workshop will include a variety of patterns for cards and envelopes as well as information on papers, inks and stamping. Calligraphy experience helpful, but not necessary. Bring a pencil, scissors, ruler and glue stick. 3 hours of instruction.
