If elected I will serve this position to my fullest extent I see it as an opportunity for me to fully understand the workings, inside and out. of a large business. It would also be a chance for me to serve the University and enable myself to become an integral part of the campus I have had vast experience in retail merchandising. Personal ly. I feel that the Bookstore needs to be efficient to give us better service and cheaper prices. Because the Bookstore is a “non-profit" organization, surplus funds should go towards more discounts for you. the shareholder. Communication is also important. Shareholders should be kept well informed and asked for input on any major policy changes. As a board ntember I would be an avenue of communication lor all students, faculty and staff. I well know the importance of having a dependable efficient, and cost conscious bookstore.
