There is always a need to improve the efficiency of a
business. We. as students, are well aware of the problem of
long lines when purchasing textbooks at the beginning of
each term This inefficient process can be improved Prices
are very important to today's college student. Currently, the
Bookstore has one of the highest discounts on textbooks in
the nation. I will work hard to see that this discount
continues.

The Board of Directors is the University's voice in
establishing pricing policies, textbook discounts, and re
investment of profits. Experience, involvmcnl. and concern

I ni experienced. I worked for two years in a commcrical
bank, my job included daily interaction with the Federal
Reserve and having the responsibility of balancing over
M000.000 each day.
I'm involved; I have done volunteer work for the EMU

I'm concerned. I campaigned for seven months to help get
my candidate elected to the Oregon Stale Legislature this
November.
In today's election it is crucial voters elect board members

Its policies, practices and prices directly affect students,
faculty and staff alike. Activities at recent annual meetings

equally clear its Board of Directors has contributed to that
