SCA has no landlord, no housemother. We do our own cooking and housework, and make our own rules: as few as possible. SCA accepts men and women with a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, mores, and expectations, and trusts them to be responsible to one another and to themselves. It seems to work. Our grades are generally high, and our costs are fairly low. The experience-learning of co-op living is at least as valuable to us as our classroom living. Both SCA houses serve good, wholesome food to both vegetarian and omnivorous tastes.
