"It makes you laugh and it makes you want to weep." "Most of the songs were created by the soldiers themselves to lift morale, and they give Oh, What a Lovely War' the color of a circus and the bumptious ness of vaudeville," he adds. Costumes were designed by Laura Webster and sets by Leslie Fried. Jean Robinson is choreographer and Michael Callahan is technical director. Tickets are $3.25 for University students and senior citizens, $4 for other students, and $5 for the general public. For reservations and further information, call the University Thatre box office at 686-4191, noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
