Events schedule updated In Tuesday's edition of the Emerald, an article entitled 'Events introduce Higher Ed Week,’ ” inadvertently gave the wrong time schedule for open house events at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts The following is the correct, up-to-date schedule of activi ties. • At noon Sunday, University Pres. Paul Olum and a city councilor, accompanied by the University marching band, will open the ceremonies on the Eugene Centre mall • From 12:30 p m until 7:30 p.m., several tours, workshops, lectures and musical programs will be presented They include an Oregon Repertory Theatre production, a lecture on holograms (three dimensional images produced with lasers) by University associate physics professor, David Sokoloff, several performances by University student and faculty performance groups, a lecture on the state of national and state economics by Ed Whitelaw, a University econ omics professor • At 7:30 p.m. the Don Latarski group, a jazz-swing band will play At 9 p.m. The Whitetones, a four man acapella, 50's group, will sing "golden oldies.” At 10 p.m., it's the Midnight Orchestra, a jazzy pop group and to cap the evening of entertainment in the Soreng Theater, the Bosworth Brothers will play a unique fu sion of funk-jazz. • In the Silva Concert Hall at 8:30 pm, "An evening with the University of Oregon Perform ing Arts," will begin The Ore gon Piano Quartet, the Department of Dance and the University Theatre will perform Refreshments will be on hand, while they last The event is free and open to the public. Wrong figures ran in grocery survey A number of the figures pub lished in the food price compa rison chart in the Emerald's Fall Orientation Issue were in error McKays supermarket was not the highest priced market in the survey.
