Total credit hours, the key factor in determining the level of state support the University receives, is up 3.3 percent. Undergraduate enrollment is 12,303, up 2.8 percent or 338 students from a year ago. Total headcount is down, primarily due to enrollment in the Community Education Program dropping back to its usual level and to a decrease in the number of students taking graduate courses who are not in a degree program. Total headcount is 16,732, down 97 students from last winter term. There also was a small decline in the number of graduate students enrolled in degree programs, down 20 students from 857 to 837.
