etal Student featured in film A documentary film about a deaf and blind doctoral student at the University will be shown Saturday throughout the state by the Oregon Educational Public Broadcasting System (OEPBS). The 28-minute film, "Addle and Dr Beth," tells the unique story of Addie Becht, the first deaf-blind person in the country ever to enroll in a Ph. D. program The program was directed and produced for OEPBS by Eugene filmmakers Sharon Genasci and Kris Jensen It will be shown at 4:30 p m on the "Oregon College Journal" series It will appear on Channel 7. Corvallis and Eugene: Channel 10 Portland; Channel 3, Salem and Channel 13.
