Steve Bolstad. Jim Lowell, and Don Holman-did not return this season, Summers needed to develop a team harmony "We lose players because we don't have scholarships." says Summers. "If we had scholarships, they'd probably stay on and participate " With mostly new players, the team started the season poorly when they went 1 -4 on the California road trip But the trip could have been a blessing in disguise, says Goldman "Nobody really had a good road trip, but we saw benefits. " he says "We got more unity out of it and we really got tested " Upon returning.
