Pre-registration is required and the cost is $65 per couple. The Marriage Education Center is a non-profit, non-denominational organization. Pike, now a project engineer for John Herrick, a Eugene structural engineering firm, will discuss the structural design of the Centre Pom pidou at 7:30 p.m. in Room 177, Lawrence Hall. Pike moved to Eugene last year from a job with ARUP Associates of London, an internationally known architectural firm which employs specialists from several disciplines. Among other projects, Pike helped re-develop the Naval Dock yards at Portsmouth, England and worked on the structural design of a multi-use housing development in Manama City, a city in the Persian Gulf country of Bahrain.
