The one-day program is pre sented by Executive Seminars, an independent educational organi zation specializing in continuing education for business execu tives and professionals. The firm works with professional groups and privately owned firms in the design and delivery of seminars and conferences on a variety of business topics. Tuition is $95 for a single regist ration and must be paid three days in advance of the seminar. Atten dance is limited. The course is ap proved for 12 credit hours by the Oregon Real Estate Division and the Oregon Board of Accounting. Program hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Leading the seminar is Somers White of Arizona, who is current president of Somers White Company, management and fi nancial consultants, and former Arizona senator and founder of Seattle’s Northwest Bank. Corrections, amplifications Music Dean Morrette River said Saturday that the addi tions to the music school make the facility one of the best on the West Coast. It had been reported that he referred to the program, rather than to the building. Additionally in Monday’s Emerald, IFC candidate Perry Buck’s statement concerning funding for Greeks was incor rect. Buck does not support funding for fraternities and sororities or for rush. Halloween dance slated Two University dormitories, Hamilton and Bean, will sponsor an all-campus dance entitled “The Masquerade" tonight at the Carson Hall cafeteria beginning at 8:30 p.m. The masquerade dance is part of a larger dorm-sponsored prog ram, “Spotlight 78,” into which most of the dormitory halls have paid 75 cents per person. Other activities will be planned during the rest of the year under the “Spotlight 78" theme. Tonight's dance will feature a five-piece band, “Swaney Brothers,” which will play from 9 p.m. until midnight. Soft drinks will be served at no charge. Dormitory residents from the sponsoring halls may come at no charge, while those from non-sponsoring dorms must bring 50 cents and their room keys as proof of residence. Those not living in dorms pay $1 ‘Great Pumpkin’ disco due KBDF and the Eugene Easter Seal School will hold a Great Pump kin Halloween Disco tonight at Odyssey 3001 in Springfield. People of all ages are invited to join the KBDF air-personalities in an effort to raise money for a new therapy pool for the Easter Seal School Prizes will be given for the best costumes and the flashiest dancers. Sapphire will perform from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., and disco will follow until 1 a.m. Turkey Run’ scheduled Cottage Grove Lake will be the site of Saturday’s 10,000 meter “Turkey Run,” with proceeds to go to the American Cancer Soc ety. Participants in the run will be eligible to win one of 10 turkeys to be given away by drawing. Each runner will also receive a yellow anc, gold “Turkey Run” T-shirt, while each sponsored runner will receive a t-shirt and a chance to win a turkey. Registration for the approximately six mile run will be at Shortridge Park on Cottage Grove Lake at 9 a.m., with the run set for 10 a.m. Toget to Shortridge Park, take I-5 to the London-Cottage Grove freeway exit, follow the bridge across the freeway, and turn left to Cottage Grove Lake. There is no entry fee to participate in the run although runners should have a sponsor or sponsors willing to pledge a minimum of $10. Sponsor sheets and entry blanks are available at Nike Sport Shoes, 1172 Pearl St., and branches of the Oregon Bank, American Cancer Society office, 1892 Willamette St, area schools, and the starting line.
