et al... Women’s series to begin The University Women/Speak series will begin its spring schedule Tuesday. The brown bag lunch series is held from noon to 1 p.m. in the EMU, room to be posted. This week’s panel discussion is “Feminism and Freud” by Sandra Gill, Jeannie McKnight, Jean Stockard and Mimi Johnson as part of the Women’s Symposium. Tuesday, April 18, will feature Glenda Gray, PhD candidate at the University speech department, who will discuss the differences be tween men’s and women's language in "Linguistic Loggerheads: Women’s Language and Control in Intimate Communications.” “Vocations for Social Change, Part Two,” will be the following week’s panel discussion, April 25. Four women who are working pro fessionally for social change will discuss their experiences. More events are planned for May. Mid-East topic of speech John Rothmann, political analyst and foreign policy consultant, will speak on “Carter, Begin, Israel and the Middle East: An Analysis,” tonight at 7:30 in the EMU Forum. Rothmann has been a presidential foreign policy adviser and a senior campaign staff member for Sen. Frank Church’s 1976 presiden tial campaiqn. His presentation will highlight current American policy in the Middle East. He will answer questions from the audience following his lecture. The event, sponsored by the Jewish Student Union, is free.
