Despite a herald greeting by two honking geese, Amazon Village Community Center is still a bit empty of users. Although its grand opening is not scheduled until mid September, the building has been open since July 9. The center’s staff has future plans for organizing camping trips, folk art skills, and team sports, as well as provide rtiuiu oy d?eve i wear facilities for photographers, potters, and woodworkers. The center, located on Hilyard near the Amazon pool, wants student volunteers (who can earn academic credit for working there) to help organize projects.
