f BRIEFS SCORE is Serving the Community and Offering Recreational Experience for teenagers. Based in the Westmoreland Community Center, this Eugene Parks and Recreation Department program offers teens a chance to organize and be involved in recreational activities and community service projects. Volunteer staff are needed to help with arts and crafts, outdoor activities, or job placement. Credit can be arranged through ESCAPE and academic departments. The Student Dance Board is sponsoring their annual Spring Student Concert, "The Color of Dance," at 4:30 and 8:00 p.m. tonight and Saturday in Gerlinger Annex, room 354. Admission 75 cents. There will be no teaching at Recreational Folk Dancing tonight. Request dancing will begin about 9:30 p.m. in 353 Gerlinger after the Student Dance Concert at 8 p.m. Ad mission 75 cents; all are welcome. The annual "BA Day Picnic" will be at 2:30 p.m today at Jasper Park on Highway 58 towards Pleasant Hill. Steak dinner will be *2 50 and the hot dog dinner only 75 cents. FILMS The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, will show two Grand Lodge films, "Mystpcal Art of Japan" and "Domain of Destiny," to the public free of charge at 1:30 p.m. today at the Oddfellows Hall in Coburg. We otter counseling services, men and women's rap groups, a small reference library and referrals. Pardon me, boy...is that the Webfoot Express ? The Webfoot Express is coming. For the first time on the west coast, new or returning students from the California area will have a chance to ride the Webfoot Express when they come to the University for fall term. Two Am track train cars, with a capacity of 44 people each, will be coming from Los Angeles and Oakland for University students. The cars will be filled on a first come first-serve basis with students and possibly a few teachers who want to get acquainted with other students. The cost for a place on the Webfoot Express is $45 from Los Angeles to Eugene and $35 from Oakland to Eugene. The dates for the trip are Sept. 16 and 17. If these first cars are filled, a second trip will be offered Sept. 19 and 20. There will also be films and entertainment for the students offered during the trip.
