Torrie McAllister Al Phelps Editor General Managei ( On Campus Library open Memorial Day Memorial Day, which will be observed next Monday, May 28, is a legal holiday for all University personnel. There will be no classes held that day and most offices will be closed. A major exception is the University Library, which will be open “as usual.” Library hours have been extended this week and next, prior to finals. On Monday through Thursday of both weeks, the General Library and Science Library will open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.; from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays; from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays; and from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. The Reserve Book Room will be open one hour later on Mondays through Thursdays, one hour earlier on Saturdays, and four hours earlier on Sundays. Yogi Bhajan to speak Yogi Bhajan, master of Kundalini Yoga, will speak in Eugene on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, May 29 and 30. He brings with him the wisdom and techniques for increasing one’s awareness and helping us to lead happy and healthy lives.
