Campus happenings T o day TICKETS are on sale at the EMU and Mattox Pipe Shop for the May 3 performance of the Fifth Dimension. Their appear ance will be part of the Ju nior Weekend Activities spon sored by the junior class. FOUR WORKSHOPS for pub lic administrators are being sponsored in four Oregon cities this month by the University CSPA. The one-day sessions will be today in La Grande at Eastern Oregon College; April 23 in Portland; April 24 in Sa lem and April 25 in Roseburg at the music room of the Vet erans’ Administration Hospi tal. Locations for the Portland and Salem workshops will be announced later. Anyone inter ested in attending one of the workshops should contact work shop coordinator John Collins in the CSPA. THE OUTDOOR program at the University will sponsor two Walt Disney wildlife films at 7:30 tonight in 180 PLC. The films are “The Olympic Elk" and “The Grand Canyon.” Each is approximately one-half hour. There will be no charge. THE GRAPE Boycott Com mittee will sponsor several showings of the film “La Huel ga” (The Strike) this week. The film is a 45-minute documentary on the grape picker’s strike in California. The free-admission movie will be shown Monday at 7 p.m., and again Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in tlie EMU) It will also be shown in dorm complexes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday eve nings. Future MEMBERS OF the Friends of the Museum at the University are planning the 11th annual gourmet dinner for 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, to be served in the ballroom of the EMU. Tick ets will be $7.50 per person and may be obtained from the mu seum office. Each member of the Friends may bring two guests. BRUCE BONNER, mem ber of the botany department at the University of California at Davis, will present a lecture on "Phytochrome Involvement in Plant Morphogenesis” at a biology seminar at 2:30 Thurs day in 30 Science. RESISTANCE MOVEMENTS of the Eugene and Portland areas are co-sponsoring a bene fit poetry reading in the Port land State University Ballroom Wednesday at 8 p.m. The fea tured poet, reading from his own work, is Allen Ginsberg. Other recognized poets and writers attending include Rob ert Bly, C. Eshlemon, and Port land poets Dick Bakken and Jon Anderson. Admission to the benefit is $1.50 for students and $3 for non-students. No seating guar antee is offered. Eugene Resistance is organiz ing a car caravan to Portland for the event.
