Three Top B-Ball Statistics Two hard-hitting juniors. Den nis Baldridge and Ron Del planche. and a vastly improved senior. Dale Ehler, led the Ore gon Duck baseball statistics for 1966 Baldridge batted a cool .382 to lead the Ducks in the hitting department, but was closely fol lowed by Delplanche and Elder, who both swung for a .349 aver age. These three led the hitting sta tistics in almost all departments except home runs, where Seott Cress was third with five. Delplanche led the Wehfoots in home runs, triples, and bases on balls, while Elder was setting a new school record by driving in 39 runs. All three of the lead ers cracked out seven doubles to lead the team in that category. The institute is designed espe cially for coaches, teachers, and swimmers. During the day-long session, the program will cover stroke mechanics, conditions, and competition. Heusner, formerly swim coach at the University of Minnesota, will present a series of lectures and demonstrations for teaching apd for competitive swimming. Money Raised Close to 600 people attended an IKC-sponsored dance last Fri day to raise funds for this sum- j mer's Oregon-Oregon State rugby ! tour of Britain. The dance, following the Ray Charles concert at Mac Court, grossed over S250.
