C-, and two-year man Kich Groth, the Ute quarterback, pace the Red skin offense. Borthwick gained 115 yards in nine carries for a 12,7 yds. per carry average in Utah's win over Montana State. He scored one touchdown, a 68 yd run in his first attempt from scrimmage, in the Montana State win, and the single Utah tally against Arizona. Groth, back to quarterback the Utah offense, connected on eight of 14 passes in the Montana game for 88 yards and one touchdown, hitting wingback Gary Heard for the score. The line weighs in at 214 pounds and the backfield 181. The Redskin offensive interior line is bolstered by 230-pound junior right tackle John Stipech. Senior Greg Kent, left tackle, weighs in at 225 pounds Bruce Bean, a 220-pound junior, and Ketil Moksnes, 202 pounds and a senior, claim the guard spots while 211-pound junior Pat Mc kissick holds down the center position. According to Nagel, standouts after the two Utah games have been defensive end Bill Morley, McKissick, Moksnes, defensive halfback Jerry Pullman and power end Frank Mazzotta. Moks nes, Pullman and Mazzotta all work on both offense and defense. Oregon has met the Redskins nine times and has won seven and lost two. The last Oregon win came in 1962 in Eugene by a 35-8 tally.
