McKeel said the election was invalidated because of proce dures of the Homecoming Com mittee. A special election will be held today One candidate's name was omit ted from the ballot and was stamped on some However, ASUO elections rules state that all can didate’s names must bo print ed in exactly the same manner and size and must appear on the ballot in alphabetical order. Honors Colloquium Studies Art Forms The colloquia series at the University Honors College this year deals with the arts, be ginning with “Early 20th Cen tury Art" fall term. Designed for students who oth erwise may not come in contact with the world of art, the pro gram is presented in a seminar setting. Directing the fail term sec tions are Paul H. Earls, School of Music: Lucile M. Colson, School of Architecture and Allied Arts: and M. Frances Dougherty, School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. This term, instead of bringing a guest lecturer to the campus, participants in the colloquium will attend the Bolshoi Ballet per formance in Portland on Nov. 7. "Avant Guardc Art” will he the subject for the winter term colloquium, and ‘ Baroque Art" will he studied spring term. Special guest lecturer will be announced at a later date. Dolphins Choose Part of Court Three of the nine finalists on the Dolphin Club Queen Court were selected at the annual Dol phin Club water show Thursday. The three finalists are Linda Jo Cooley from Whittier, Calif.; Kiana Kientz, Pleasant Hill, I Calif.; and Cherie Braddock, San Leandro, Calif. Three more finalists will be selected Saturday night, and three Friday, Nov. 8. The final selection of the queen will be announced Nov. 9.
