Religious News Christian House Mayor Edwin Cone will speak at the Sunday evening discussion period at Christian House. His subject is “What Can a Christian Do to Improve His Community?-' Bring your questions to talk them over with the mayor of Eugene. Preceding his presentation will be the installation of new officers and a worship period. Program begins at 5 pan. Don David is in charge of installation. John Ilukor of Uganda, grad uate student in physics, will be the guest of the group to discuss conditions in his country. Lutheran Miss Guhli Olson will speak on “Christian Service in Nursing" at the meeting Sunday night. Fiszman, political science instructor, will partici pate in a panel discussion during the annual conference for the Far Western Slavic Association April 27-29 at the University of Washington. The panel will dis-1 cuss the responsibilities of the scholar in the teaching of Com- j munism in the public schools. Fiszman edited “The Ameri can Political Arena: Selecting Readings,” recently published by Little, Brown & Co. Over 60 poli-1 tical and social scientists are rep- j resented in the anthology, includ ing other University faculty j members. Other faculty contributors are Egbert S. The panel travels under the direction of the North west Area Teaching Committee of the National Spiritual Assem bly of the Bgha'is of the United States. The seven youths travel and work in the interests of the oneness of Mankind and World Peace. The youths, ranging in ages from 13 to 19. are moderated by Mrs. Barbara Reich through the Baha'i House of Worship in Chicago. Music will be provided by Don Addison.
