The houses rotate on the basis of the year their chapter was found ed at the University. The posi tions of secretary and treasurer are filled by the house which will hold the presidency and vice presidency the next year, the secretary becoming president and the treasurer becoming vice president. Panhellenic will hold a regular meeting Thursday night at «:30 at Alpha Chi Omega. Kappas Kop Emerald Kup Kappa Kappa Gamma topped women’s living groups with $92 in Emerald subscription sales to win the circulation trophy. Fri day. Alpha Omicron Pi was second with $30, followed by Carson 5, $10; Tri-Delta, $12; and Susan Campbell Hall, S4. The permanent trophy, was awarded or. an equal-chance bas is, regardless of the size of the living organization. The Kappas won the trophy for having the most subscriptions, per person affiliated. Each girl in the Kappa house sold one subscription for the $92 total. “A lot of parents are going to know what's happening on the University campus,” president Lynne Smith said. Emerald Editor, Allen John son made the trophy presenta tion Friday night at dinner. The subscription sales contest was initiated to build the circula tion of The Emerald and to give women’s living groups a chance to compete for the trophy of fered, said Gary Capps, business manager.
