r Ladies Week Violators Bagged By 'O' Women; Result—Wet!! tsy JJUINJNA HLETZING The Order of the O men turned out in force to meet the new Or der of the O women yesterday in front of the Side, both, incident ly, getting hit from above, below, and around, with water bags. The men mingled with the spec tators instead of appearing as violators, but the craftiness of the women picked out the men and the waterbagging began. The activity girls appeared to be out of prac tice with their swinging arms and the bags consistently missed their targets. Finally Barbara Borrevick began hitting from below with buckets of water. Wayne Bartholomy should be crowned the King of Chintze according to Kay Schneider, Mor tar Board ball chairman. He showed up when it was almost over A minor riot started when he appeared, but more of the women were hit than the Big Chintz. Bob Wallace retreated to the backroom of the University Sport Shop when the overpowering Or der of the O girls started after him. His boss “protected little Bob by locking him in the storeroom. He apparently didn't want him to get wet,” was the comment by Miss Sneider. Jake Leicht was hit squarely on the head with a full bucket of water; Robin Arkley got it sitting down; Ro£er Wiley put up a good fight but lost in the end; and Ross “Sates and Marv Rassmussen, to mention just a few, took their share. The women took vengeance on Ed Crobat after his Junior Weekend lists, and A1 Peitschman came prepared with a cellophane covering. The fellows did not give up, however, and the Sigma Chi hose was put into use against the O Women and the curious bystand ers. Chairman-Schneider said “Fair warning" to the Sigma Chis. The hose incident seemed, to put a fiendish idea into the O Men's heads, however, and the dunking party ended with both the defense and the opposition getting drench ed If the spirit of the water bag ging is extended to the Mortar Board Ball, those attending “Lad ies Night” at Mac Court tonight will see a crowded dance floor, said Miss Sneider.
