k 1- Minor all-campus dances of a rally nature may be held on
occasions when desirable, under the following conditions:
a. Normally, the dance must be held on Saturday night.
► b. Normally, the dance must be held in Gerlinger hall.
c. The administration of these dances lies with the Educa
tional Activities Manager.
VI. Rallies, Serenades, Parades:
A. The administration of rallies and parades is the responsibility of
, the Dean of Men. Such events:
1. Must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
2. Must not. conflict with class hours or normal study hours.
1 3. Must not be held on Sundays.
B. Organized serenades are allowed on Friday and Saturday nights.
1. Must terminate within one hour after normal closing hours.
2. Must be cleared with the Dean of Men 24 hours in advance.
VII. Off-Campus Dances:
A. No University-sponsored, dances outside of the Eugene area will

and off the campus, and to assist the yell leader if called upon to

X. Charters: The following procedure shall govern the application for

roll, national dues, financial setup of the national, etc.
XI. Recognition of Organizations:
A. Organizations must be officially recognized if they

2. Bear the name of the University.
3. Influence the well-being of the University by their public;

1. A statement of its aims and functions.
2. Its constitution and by-laws.
3. Its membership roll and sponsors.
4. Time and place of meeting.
5. Its financial support and a condition of its finances.
