' The Ducks have averaged 355.0 yards per game in eight contests in total offense and have averaged 173.5 yards per game in passing offense. LOS ANGELES (UPI) Uni versity of Southern California's Trojans stressed pass defense once again today as they pre pared to meet Oregon State's football team Friday night in the Coliseum. Coach John McKay moved All-America end Hal Bcdsole uit to second string after Tues day's workout. Bedsole had been dropped to third string aft er the Trojans were upset by the Washington Huskies. McKay said Bedsole would play behind Fred Hill and Dave Moton who arc alternating at split end on the first team. Halas Views Packer Crew As 'Tough' CHICAGO (UPI) George Halas' view of his Chicago Bears game against the Green Bay Packers Sunday was bleak today from every angle except the final result. ' . i "We can win," he said, "but the odds are against us. "We must play our best game of the season, and much better than we did in our first game with them, when we played our best game previously this year.
