Doe Deer Sic With Triplet Fawns One of nature's rarities, a doe deer and triplet fawns, was sight ed by Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Wilson Thursday morning while enjoying breakfast at their home on Whistlers Lane near the North Umpqua River. Mrs. Wilson reported the doe had been coming into a field behind her home for some time, and that she realized the deer was expect ing a fawn. However, when the doe appeared Thursday with trip lets, Mrs. Wilson stated that she was "surprised to say the least." The Wilsons watched the doe and her triplets for some time before the mother led her fawns back to shelter. Reservists To Leave For Camp This Month The Roseburg U.S. Army Re serve Unit, Co. M, 3rd Battalion, 414th Regiment, will leave for summer camp at tamp Roberts Calif., July 21, and will return Aug. 4. Lt. Robert R. Robertson said that during this period the unit will participate m the basic train ing of army recruits. Co. M is a training unit, and in event of mobilization will probably be utilized to train draftees and recruits.
