He brought his brother, Hal, to the Seventh-day Adventist Academy at Milo. Hal, who just completed his junior year at the academy, will work at the school during the summer as he has been doing each summer to help defray school expenses. Tommy is to be married at Marysville June 30. Mrs. Darl.y Wart, Mrs. Margar et Engle, Mrs. Robert Elliott, Mol lie Ware, Mary Beth Hill, Sherry Engle, Ann Walton, Randi Todd, Maryann Johnson, Beth Orjala and Sandy Mclntyrs, spent two days at the Walton summer place at Croft Lake and also enjoyed the boat trip from Gold Beach to Ag nes, after which the group went to Coos Bay to spend Thursday, Fri day and Saturday attending the grand session of Job's Daughters of Oregon. ' - Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Olson of La Sierra, Calif., formerly of Rose burg, were visitors here over the weekend en route home from the World Fair at Seattle. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wood on Del Rio Drive. In order to visit as many friends as pos sible, a potluck dinner was held Saturday afternoon at Singleton Park and attended by ISO mem bers and friends of the local Ad ventist Church. The Olsons went to LftSicrra in order that their son, Gordon, might enter the Ad ventist college after being grad uated from Milo Academy. Gor don, who was married in March, has eight more months of study to become a mortician. The Olson's younger son, Elton, is i student in College.
