Two prosecution witnesses took the stand Wednesday, both slate policemen. Shipley is charged with the Aug. 7 oiinchnl murHpr of Linda Jean Stevens. 16. Fishermen Profit From Big Tuna Run COOS BAY fAP) Coos Bay fishermen are cashing in on one of the best tuna catches in years. Already 500.000 pounds of tuna have been unloaded at Coos Bay norts and an estimated 250.000 pounds more is in boats waiting to be unloaded. Some 40 to 50 more boats are expected in with their load from the fishing grounds by Thursday night. Fishermen renort the tuna are being caught about 40 miles off the Oregon shore in an area oppo site Cape Blanco northward to fiewport. The going price for the tuna is $3."i0 a ton.
