Tau Eta Eta Club Installs Officers Tail Eta Eta held a Combined installation-dinner meeting in Wins ton recently in the home of Kirs. P. Johnson, with Mrs. Ruth Bradley as catercss. Mrs. Jesse Walker, installing of ficer, installed the following offi cers, President. Mrs. Charles Ken yon; vice president, Mrs. Wayne Wheeler; secretary, iMrs. Austin Welt; treasurer, Mrs. Earnest Peel. Following the installation ser vice, Mrs. Charles Kenyon was in charge of the meeting and wel comed to office Mrs. Zeke Wal ton, sergeant-at-arms; Mrs. Bill House, scribe: and Mr.s. Bill House, Mrs. John Elliott and Mrs. Earn est Peel, as Trustees. Committees at large welcomed were Mrs. Roy Woodall, sunshine: and Mis. (Jerry Smith, Mr.s. Ted Vretlas and Mrs. Bob Anderson, welfare. A past president's pin and a pot ted fuchsia, was presented to the retiring president, .Mrs. Jesse Walker, who thanked the group for the gifts, and for cooperation for the past year. Preceding dinner, a lour of the beautiful landscaped grounds was made by the group. An invited guest and speaker of the evening was Mrs. Lee Wilson of Winston who spoken on 'Fram ing and Making Pictures in the Home." Mrs. Wilson demonstrated several pictures and the process ot maKing tnem. BRIDE-TO-BE HONORED AT CHARMING SHOWER A very lovely surprise miscel laneous bridal shower was given recently at the Camas Valley Orange Hall in honor of Miss Char lotte Barrus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mars Soulhwick of Camas Valley. Miss Barcus is to be mar ried June 26 to Ronald P. Munch .Mixed floral arrangements were used about the grange hall and an arrangement of roses centered the lace covered table on wnich Ihe shower gills were placed. Beautiful corsages were presented to the brirle elert and her mother. Small tokens of appreciation were given to the outgoing offi cers and committee chairmen by Matilda S. Rapelje, who in turn was presented with a lovely gift from the membership. The dinner, served at a beautiful ly decorated table to 30 members and guests, was catered by Ruth Bradley. YONCALLA SAFETY CLUB HAS OUTING AT COAST Yoncalla Lions Club sponsored a day s outing for students of Yon calla grade school, who weremem bers of the Safely Club for the school during the past year. The group drove to the coast where they enjoyed a picnic dinner at lloneyman Park and a tour of Sea Lions Caves. Mrs. Pauline Latham, safety ad visor of Ihe grade school, and Mr. Latham, Mr. and Mrs. Les Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Allen from Ihe Lions Club chaperoned the group.
