"The new 5 per cent rate is be ing made applicable to loans al ready on the bank's books which hear a higher rule of interest." Perkins advised. "All new loans will be at the new 5 per cent level, as well." he said. In the four Northwest states, the Federal Land Rank of Spokane has more than $16,000,000 in .V per cent loans outstanding. Perkins re- ported, and another $7,000,000 in pending loans. Farmers and ranch ers concerned in this area will get an annual interest savings in ex cess of $110,000.
