Holds Experiment At one point in his lecture, j Vaus pressed a button, causing electricity to leap from the coil. He then asked for a volunteer to I hold the coil during a repeat of the demonstration. One of the 125 1 prisoners present held the coil1 which, when activated, merely hummed ominously. Vaus then used amplifiers to indicate the presence of sound un heard by human ears. "These experiments show that many times there are things you know exist that can't be seen, felt or heard. It's the same thing with religion," he said.
