Mr. and Mrs. Charlti DtGuIrs spent last weekend at Albany where the former bowled in a tour nament. Chtryl Wingfitld, small daughter of Mr. and Airs. S. H. Wingfield Jr., has been confined to her home for the past week with a case of mumps. Bob McFarland, son of M r i. Charles DeGuira of this city, has completed this term's work at Southern Oregon College and is working for the Purkeson Logging Co. at Drain. Miss Eisle Fay Johnson of Jack son, Miss., has been spending the past two weeks here working with the young people of the Southern Baptist Church. She has been the houseguest of the Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Howard and of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Wingfield Sr. Roy Thomason spent last week end in Portland attending to busi ness matters. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpson trav eled to Albany Sunday to attend the Junior Legion baseball game. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Todd of Myr tle Point were guests over the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Todd. Mrs. Floyd Verback and daugh ters, Sherry and Viki, have moved from their home on Otie Lant to the OakhiU Apartments. 5. H. Wingfitld Sr. and Howard OU spent last weekend at Cannon Beach where they attended the Christian Business Men's Com mittee convention. Miss Nancy McFarland left to day for Portland where she will be the weekend guest of Mrs. Gail Narver. She Is making the trip to attend the wedding of a sorority sister.
