V.r McGbehty, reception ist at KYhb radio station, has been ill the last couple of days at her home. Miss Cirol Kimball of Portland visited over the weekend with her mother Mrs. Kimball, and with her brother, Tom Kimball. Miss Ltola Lor.nz.n, who will be a senior at University of Ore gon this fall, has arrived home to spend the summer with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Loren zen, on SE Blakeley Avenue. Mrs. Gorg Jackson, who has been making her home with her daughter in Eugene for the last several years, spent a few days in Roscburg this week visiting and attending to business. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton W. Silikl and sons, 9 and 7, and daugh ters, 5, 2 and 9 monfhs-old, have moved to 855 SE Flint St., Rose Salikie is employed as a log truck driver for Patterson Logging Co. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin A. Stawart are newcomers from Portland. They have a 5 year-old daughter. Mr. Stewart is employed in the logging industry by Tomlinson Brothers. Dr. and Mrs. Paul Tru.blood and daughter, Susan, of Salem will spend the weekend in Roseburg and will attend the silver wedding celebration Sunday, June 16, of Mr. and Mrs. George Churchill, to be hald at their home on the North Umpqua from 3 to 5:30 in the afternoon and from 7 to 9 in the evening. Mrs. Trueblood is a sister of Mr. Churchill. A. U. Taylor of Davenport, Iowa, furmerly of this city, has arrived here to attend to business. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon T. Bontlay are expected back this week fol lowing a vacation of two weeks which they spent in Washington. Mrs. H. L. Elkins and children, Judy and Lloyd, of Prineville are visiting for a week with the form er's mother, Mrs. II. S. Powell, at Tyee. J. F. Dillard of this city left by plane Wednesday for Phoe nix, Ariz, to spend a few days vis iting his daughter, Jeanne Miller, who is making her home in that city. Mr, and Mrs. Leonard J. Hogg and two sons, 16 and 10, have moved to 1633 NE Hollis St. from Reedsport. Mr. Hugg is employed as a mechanic at Roseburg Mo tors. Mr. and Mrs. Rob.rt W. Ben nttt and sons, 8, 7, 2 and 1, and daughter, 6, have moved to 1508 bh. Lane Ave., Roseburg, from Vancouver, Wash. Mr. Bennett is employed by Douglas Veneer. 'Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Wilson are newcomers from Tacoma. They have two sons, 11 and 9, and daugnter, 8. Mr. Wilson is cm ployed by Martin Box Co. in Oak land. Eddie Lor.m.n, son of Mr. and Mrs. k,. V. Lorcnzcn of this city is leaving by bus Friday for Port land to attend the Rose Festival with his sister. Miss Gail Loren zen, who is a student nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, after which he will take the train for Minot, N.D. to spend the summer at the home of his uncle. Coma Haarsagcr. Frank Chinn of this city at tended to business in Medford this week. Mr. and Mrs. Myrton Pitt and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kennedy enjoyed 'he weekend visiting at coastal lOints. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Stephenson have left for their home in Madi son, Wis., following a visit here with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G.
