The evidence is that certain troes of intestinal bacteria may cause the epidemics which can sweep through nurseries. One outbreak in Children's Hos pital of Michigan was traced to one special type of a common bac teria known as t. con, said urs. Cyril S. Stulberg and Wolf Z. Zuelzer, of the Child Research Center of Michigan, Detroit. This germ can be controlled by the antibiotic neomycin. But it is essential to treat all babies in the nursery, they said. W) Dejected and grimly silent, Russell Tongay sur rendered Thursday to begin a 10 year prison term for the death of his daughter, Kathy. Kathy, 5, who with her brother, Bubba, formed the Auatot pair, died in 1953 after diving on her father's orders from a 33-foot board.
