Local Community News Briefs Will Go To Big Cimes Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Sanford and Mr. and Mrs. Dale High plan to leave this weekend for Big Camas to have charge of lookouts there. Student Visits Miss Bobbie Tonole. student at Laurelwood Academy, spent several days this week visiting here with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Tonole. Reported Doing Nicely Mrs. I D.illen Jones, who recently under i uent major surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene, is re ported to be getting along nicely. C. Finlay, on South Main Street. Home From Hospital Mrs. R. G. Gray, 3245 N. Stephens. Roseburg, has returned to her home following recent surgery at a Eugene Hospital. She is now convalescing. A 1954 graduate of Roseburg High School, Terho is the son nf Mr. and Mrs. Donald Terho. He entered the Navy in January. After a two-month course in Ok lahoma, he will go on to an ad vanced school. Bevans Has a four-year grade average of 1.2 and has been president of the student body this year. Ferguson has a grade point average of 1.9 for the four years and has been president of the Boy's Leogue this year., He also coptained, lost fall's state championship six-man football team. Both men have been active in school organizations, Jenkins having been historian of the National Honor Society and Kinkade its president.
