Wl One of the biggest thefts in years, by a dam site, was being investigated Tuesday by government agents. Stolen Monday from the Whittier Narrows dam site were three stor age sheds; one chicken house; two pumps and a 20 gallon pressure tank. ( New Jersey's deer hunting season opened Monday and one of the first to be injured by a shot was Malcolm Duffie, 36, of Kenvil. Police said Duffie, apparently stalkin? a big one, stopped to warm himself with a snort from an inside pocket. It estimated a saving of one bil lion dollars "or more" could be effected annually in the civil serv ice payroll of about 10 billion dollars.
