The table favors of little white candles were presented to each member and guest by Mrs. Lucia Jngles. Mrs. Phil Hart was Santa Claus and distributed gifts to each mem ber and their guests. Cards were played the rest of the afternoon with Mrs. William Mtcwig win ning high prizo and with extra prizes going to Mrs. l'hil ilart and Mrs. Eugene Pnncen. Election of officers was held with the new president, 11 r 8. George Frew, in charge. Other of ficers include: Mrs. I!. 1). Par sons, vice-president, Mrs. WilK-in Stiewig, secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Phil Hart, Sunshine chairman, Mrs. E. D. Parsons, gift buyer, and Bernardino Princen, corre spondent. It was voted to meet only oh the second Thursday of every month instead of twice a month. Covers were placed for Mrs. George Frew, Barbara Irvin, Mrs. M. Sory, Mrs. E. E. Emmitt, Mrs. R. D. Piper read the impres sive double ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a gown of ivory satin in classic design with a full train. Her illusion veil featured a niching of the same material and she carried an or chid surroundoM by lily-of-the-val-lev and carnations atop a white Bible. She was Attended by her s.ster, Aliss Mary Louise Hachenberg as maid-of-hunor, in a gown of laven der satin and marquiette. Sho car ried yellow chrysanthemums. Bridesmaids were Aliss Dorothy Ray, sister of the bridegroom, who wore nile green tarreta; Aliss Aliens Ray of Aledford and Aliss Kaniona McGuire wore gowns of yellow taffeta. The' bridesmaids carried chrysanthe mums in matching hues. Candles were lighted by Roberta and Alickey Ray, sisters of the bridegroom, in gowns of yellow taffela with head dresses of yellow chrysanthemums. Karen Hutchins, in green organ dy, and Ann Spurling, in yellow organdy, were train bearers. James L. Spurling, U.S. Navy, of New Plymouth, Idaho, was best man. Left to right, Mrs. A wedding of much Interest took place Saturday evening, Dec. 6, at seven o'clock at the Clarke home at 842 Hoover Street, when Olive Clarke of this city and James, C. Johnson of Olympia, Wash., were married in the presence of their families. Elder John Rodley of the LDS Church performed the ceremony. Arrangements of chrysanthe mums and holly formed the decor ations for the improvised altar Mrs. Mabel Hiney played "I Love You Truly," on the marimba .pre ceding the ceremony. The bride wore an attractive crepe dress of teal blue fashioned with long sleeves and two draped panels trimming the sxirt. Her corsage was a large orchid. .
