The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil L. Lindley of Roseburg; and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Weaver, also of Rose burg. Rev. Paul R. Weaver offi ciated. The matron of honor. Leona Buker, sister of the bride, was dressed in an orchid dress. Mary Louise Weaver, sister of the bride groom from Roseburg. was dress ed in yellow. Shirley Becker, friend of the couple, was a bridesmaid and wore green. The third brides maid was Ernestine Easterly, cou sin of the bride. She wore blue. The church was decorated with Ivy and orange blossoms. Huge baskets of peace roses and snap dragons flanked the altar.' Mrs. Roy Cox of Roseburg was soloist. Accompanying her was Lee Marsh at the organ. The reception was held In the church parlors for 150 guests. The lace covered table was centered with a tiered wedding cake, The bride's mother wore a navy blue suit with white accessories. Her corsage was of salmon col ored rosebuds. The bridegroom's mother wore a gray suit with navy accessories and a pink rosebud corsage. For traveling, the bride chose an orchid suit with white accessories. Following a honeymoon trio to the coast and Portland area, the new Mr. and Mrs. Weaver are at home at 1631 Grandview. Out of town guests Included Mrs. Marjorie Woods and daughter, Helen from Albany: Mrs. Elpha Ritter, Albany; and Rev. and Mrs. L. E. Weaver of Winlon, Calif. The bride is employed at J.C. EUGENE BRATSCH FETED AT BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION Eugene Bratsch celebrated his twelfth birthday, Wednesday, June 11, with a lovely party, given by his mother, Mrs. Barry Bratsch at the family home in Dillard. The boys gathered from two to four and played games with prizes award ed to Jack McLennan, Larry Bis- sionnetle, Gocrge Godfrey and Geno Bratsch. The hostess usr colorful bouquets of sweet peas about the rooms for decorations wilh balloons hanging about the rooms. Each guest was presented with paper cup favors filled with candy guns, tanks, plcnes and can nons. Kemper, DD, per formed the impressive double ring ceremony at lour 0 clock in the afternoon in the presence of rela tives and friends of the couple. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length dress of brocaded ivory satin, a wreath of pink roses in her hair, and she carried dark pink roses in crescent shape. A large number of beautiful gifts were presented to the honored guests. During the evening. Miss Carla Taylor sang several songs appro priate to the occasion and Miss Janet Hargis played piano selec tions. Miss Hargis also had charge of the guest book. The traditional cake was served with punch and coffee from a beautifully apponted table.- Mrs. Ira Poole of Tiller pored. YOUNG PEOPLE'S GROUP HAVE PICNIC JUNE IS The Young People's group of the Camas Valley Church attend ed a hike and picnic June 15. Fifteen young people met with their advisor, Mrs. Stanley Robin ette and hiked on the Baldwin Road to the Camas Mountain Way side where they were met by Mrs. Juan Swendener, co-advisor for the Mr. ' and Mrs. Kenneth Zurfleuk, Grass Valley, Calif.; Miss Carolo Zuefleuk, Beaverton, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Petjens, ShaniKo, Ore.; Phil Nachler, Roseburg; Mr. and Mrs. Andy Petjens Jr., Spring field, Calif. The bride was graduated from Roseburg Senior High School and from the University of Oregon. She , has been teaching in Bly High School for the past year. The bridegroom was graduated from the University of Oregon and is now employed with a large firm in Salinas, Calif. For traveling, the bride chose a navy blue suit with navy acces sories. Her corsage was yellow roses. Following a honeymoon to Big Sur on the California Coast.
