Federal Job Aim Of Harry Hiney Harold Hiney, former News-Review employee, who has been in military service almost contin uously for the past five years, hut been released to inactive status. Returning to nis home in Rose burg Friday, he will visit here for a few weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hiney. Entering military service in 1946, Hiney, as a result of his exper ience in newspaper mechanical work, was assigned to the army printing department. He went to Japan in 1948 and served until August 1950, when he went on the inactive list. In September of that year, however, he was called back into service and returned to Japan, where he was employed in an army headquarters printing plant. Placed again on the inactive list, Aug. 5, he arrive in Seattle this week. He was joined here by his wife, the former Loretta Wyant, and their two-year-old daughter, Laura, St. Joseph, Mo. Hiney plans to enter the govern ment's printing department as a civil service employee and will go to Missouri soon after the first of the month for examinations.
