Economist Hits Defense Idea In Price Program WASHINGTON GW An eco r.omics professor urged Congress to kill a bill to set up "good faith" as a defense against price discrim ination charges. Dr. Vernon A. Mund, Seattle, Qniversity of Washington profes sor, testified at a senate, small business committee hearing that the effects of a seller's behavior is the only way to determine price discrimination. "His 'intent' or 'motive' is profit and this motive is neither one of 'good faith' or 'bad faith' it is a commercial fact," he said. The bill would establish "good faith" as a defense for a seller in meeting a low price of a com petitor. The bill provides that the seller would not be deemed to have acted in good faith "if he knew or should have known that the lower price" was unlawful o i G WOMEN'S SHOES O 0 '' MOST! c Lovera. 3. bares her shou d Milled NEW On Belle Sharmeer o o 0 o o O 0 o O 4 11 o 51 gauge, j denier were 1.95, now . . . 51 gauges 20 denier were 1.85, now cj) 51 gauge, 30 denier werel.75, now . . .
