Wands of Winston section were Mr. end Mrs. Martin Brooks and the former's mother, Mrs. Lil lian Brooks, all of Grants Pass. They are here to be with Mrs. Wands' and Mrs. Brooks' mother, Mrs. Ethel Kluver, who underwent miwr aurgery at Roseburg Com munity hospital last week. Mrs. Kluver's condition is reported good by her attending physician. Other guests of the Wands on Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kluver and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Barnes, all of Roseburg. Mrs. Wands is the sister of Mrs. Barnes .and Mr. Kluver. Expected in the J. Kearby Mas ters home soon are his sister, Mrs. Erskin Culver, and his niece and nephew. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert El ler, and son, Loren. Mrs. Culver is a resident of Slayton. Tex., and the Ellers reside in Arlington, Tex. A trip to the Oregon laves was enjoyed on the Fourth of July by Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Davidson, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ladd and Mr. and Mrs. Kennie Ladd and family. The Davidson family recently re turned from a trip to Salem by way of the coast. Accompanying them was Patty Ladd. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stansell of Portland have been visiting here with the latter'a father, M. E. Ul schaffer, while M.S.- Ulschaffer was in Sesttle, Wash., for the wed ding of her nephew, J. B. Waugh.
