(In Monday evening a group of girls ranging In age from pre-srhool to eighth grade were presented. On Tues dsy evening boys also ranging in age from pre school but including high school students played. Both programa were very Inter esting and enjoyable. The talented young atudrnta played musically having poise and enthusiasm for their work. Their playing showed an emphasis upon musical atyle resulting from developing mu sicianship aa well aa technique A social hour waa enjoyed at j the close of the program by the pupils and their guests. Miss Strong served refreshments. A. F. Micelli on the Melrose road. The affair waa open to the public aa a benefit spossored by the guild and was attended by a large number of membera and frienda. Mrs. Ella Gray very graciously acted aa commentator for the fash ion ahow. Mra. Paul Geddea played the organ music for the occasion. The organ waa loaned by Ott Ricketta Music store. Mrs. Doming Bronson, Incoming president and Mra. G. N. Sie farth, retiring president, with Mrs. Micelli, received the guests. The fashions were shown in the back garden of the home. Models entered the garden from the living room and walked the length of the oval lawn and around the large lily pool and back to the house. Shelley Plimpton, small daughter of Mr. and Mra. W. Sherman Plimpton', and Leslie Tuck, young daughter of Dr. and Mra. Bruce Turk, opened the atyle show by modeling bathing suits. WjrA. Jdarold'Jli Jdonored at Mra. Harold Thomas waa hon ored with a pink and blue shower Friday night at her home in Dil- lard, with Mra. Bertha Swanson, Mrs. Hazel Thomas and Mra. Edith Bratsch acting aa hostesses. The rooms were decorated with roses and iris, a gift of Mra. Erie Johnson of Green. The serving table waa beautiful with pink roses nd blue iris and was centered with a large sheet cake decorated in pink and blue. Contest gamea were played and prizea awarded to Mra. Vernon Bratach, Mrs. Lulu Post, Mrs. Pat Matson and Mra. Harold Thomaa. The door prize waa won by Mra. Ray Friti. The honored guest a mother, Mrs. R. E. Fritz and sister, Misa Mary Lou, and Mra. Melissa Pesrl Hooker, all of St. Helens, at tended, bringing with them the gifts that were received when Mrs. Hooker had a shower in honor of Mrs Thomaa at her home in St. Helens. Her "home town" friends assembled in her honor, wrapned her gifts and placed them tn the beautifully decorated bassinette. Enormoua, well-kept lawna add to the attractiveness of the beautifully planted grounds. Lovely refreshments were served at the tea hour from an attrac tively appointed serving table in the garden.
