Friday, June 8, 1952 Recital Of Donee Pupils Enjoyed By Large Crowd By LOUISE HAYES A nrarcapaeily crowd enjoyed the well-staged recital of Ralph Patterson's dance pupils Wednes day night at the Junior high school , auditorium. While friends and relatives of the performers ac-; counted for many of the heats, the unusually large attendance indi- cated an interest in the accon , plish merits of Mr. Patterson whu opened his dance school jn Ru.se burK ju5t a year ago. From the opening number, 'Hop Low and the Mushroom Dancers," presented by a gioup of five-year olds, the show moved swiftly and the audience expressed delmM nut : only with the dancing but with ti.o exceptionally heautdul array ol costumes. The soloists, I.ucinda Kandall, 1 Joyce Johnson and Shary Perrault, ; gave polished performances hint; Rhowed considerable ability.! Ralph Patterson appeared person ally in several numbers and danced two duels with iJetly Ma ler and particularly pleased the spectators.
