Both were dressed in white robes. Mrs. Robert Smith. pianist, played the traditional wedding march and accompanied Mrs. Lela Whitford, who sane "Always" and "I Love You Trulv." Mrs. Smith also accomnanied the Rev. M r. Whitford, who sans "The Lord's Prayer." as a benedirlion. The bride, given in marriage bv her father, was beautiful in a flown of Ivory slipper salin. Misses Betty Hanson. Emngcne Matlock, Dixie Willis and Vonda Priest, and the lunior bridesmaids. Darlcne Mellatt and Elizabeth Hudson, all wore green satin gowns identical to the maid of honor's and all car ried nosegavs of daffodils with yel low streamers. Immediately following the cere mony, a reception was held in the church parlors. The bridal couple Miss Betty, who will represent the local club. Mrs. Eugene Springer and Mrs. H. A. Brubaker attended the ban quet at the Multnomah hotel Thurs day evening. Mrs. Kenneth Ford was pro gram chairman for the dav and in ttortuced Mrs. Giadvs York, co owner of York tiardens at Seal Rock. Ore Mrs York delnhted the members and guests bv telling of her gardens, the culture of fuchsias anil many interesting facts rel ative to growing t h e plants Mrs, ork is also a talented artist and she displayed pastels of nu merous fuchsias. Mrs. Earl Plummer intro duced Wendell Johnson, violinist and his accompanist. Mrs. W. Sherman Plimpton, who oresented "Legende" by Wienawski and "Ari oso" hv Bach.
