Miles, became the bride of Merle Lee l'alm. ion of John Palm and the late Mrs. Gladvs Palm, at a verv pretty ceremony Wednesday eve mng.'April 18, at the beautiful new home of the bride's parents in 1 aurelwood. Rev. W; A. MacAr thur, pastor of the First Methodist church, performed the impressive finale ring ceremony at nine o clock in the presence of relatives and close friends of the couple. Numerous sDnnR flowers, wit yellow and white colors predomi nating, formed the decorations for the fireplace mantle and bouquets in the living room. The bride was charniihg in a navy blue suit with white accesso ries and a corsage of carnations. Miss Inora Markillie was maid of honor and wore a white dress with black accessories and a cor sage of pink carnations. Frank Ad dison acted as best man. an A reception followed, at which time the bride and brideeroom cut the first piece of the wedding cake which was served bv the bride's hnother. Coffee was poured b T the bride's maternal grandmother. Mrs. H. F. Snvder. of Roseburg. The lace-covered serving table was centered with the wedding cake, which was decorated in pas tel pink and white icing, flanked. by arrangements of spring blos soms. Decorations for the wedding were arranged by Mrs. Paul Jen kins. Mr. and Mrs. Palm will make their home in Roseburg. Both the bride and brideeroom have many friends in Roseburg. having spent most of their lives in this city. The bride attended the Roseburg schools and later at tended school in Portland. The bridegroom attended Rolindale school in Warren. Ohio. He is em nlovcd by Leo T. Kimbrell. paint ing contractor.
