Pianist Mental Patient Plays After Four Years WEST BRENTWOOD, N.Y. -VP An accomplished pianist, who re fused to touch a keyboard for four years, gave a recital here Monday at the Pilgrim State hospital, where she is a mental patient. In coastal watcnt, Zone 1, the sleelhead season, including trout over 12 inches in length, is open through March 11. Merl Young, namcU by a senate sub committee as a wielder of iW proper influence on RFC loans, plans to face his accusers at a public hearing this week, it has been disclosed. The subcommittee, headed by Senator Fulbright (D-Ark), charged in a recent report to the Senate that Young and Donald Dawson, a White House aide, were members of a group which had too much voice in the lending of mil lions by the Reconstruction Fi nance corporation. President Truman called the re port asinine and said Dawson should not answer it. Fulbright tald reporters he will ask the subcommittee to hear Young, probably Wednesday. An informed source said Young has advised the subcommittee he will testify. COLOMBIANS TO FIGHT WASHINGTON OP) Colom bian Ambassador Eduardo Zuleta Angel says a hand-picked battalion of 1,080 Colombian officers and men will leave his country about the first of March to fight in Ko rea.
